Here is a quick clip of San Marco Piazza in Venice. 
And here is a quick clip of the square and major buildings from a water taxi. We didn’t take a lot of photos here because a third of the Basilica is under repair work, the entire front facade of the building across the square from it is being renovated and the building next to the Basilica is being renovated, including the famous Il Ceilo dei Sospiro bridge (the fancy covered white one behind the Basilica…as seen in the Madonna, Like a Virgin music video…don’t ask how or why I know this!!)

After a long hiatus, the Walkerhomeplace site is back up and running. The focus this time will be our trip to France and Italy this summer. Hope you can stop by frequently and enjoy the posts and pics. |
